    CO-BOD SELECTION – Selection of Co-Board Of Directors from the Junior rotarators
    “Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other”
    Since we have completed the first quarter of our Rotaract journey and also we have seen the very much indulgence of the juniors in every events we did so we saw the calibre of them and decided to choose the Co-BOD’s among them so they can learn the roles and responsibilities of the BOD’s. We had rigorous sessions of interviews where 31 rotaractors participated and 28 were selected for the post for the CO- BODs.

    CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION – To spread happiness to the kids
    “There are no seven wonders of the world in the eyes of a child . There are seven million ”
    As the above quote speaks volume about that children are one in a million and so on their day we took an initiative to celebrate and give them a gleeful experience . We invited 140 children from the government school and indulged them into a lot of fun activities where each child was delighted and filled with happiness. We distributed food items to them and taught them lessons about discipline and unity through showing them some lesson videos.

    LETTER HEAD EXCHANGE- To build a relationship with other district clubs
    “Even as individuals become families and families become communities, and communities become nations, so eventually must the nations draw together in peace ”
    With the above thought in mind, Rotaract club of RIMS extended the hand of friendship with Rotaract Club of Bombay Northwest Malad, Rotaract District 3141 and expanded our network. We were excited and honoured to exchange the letter head with their club. The main objective was to have joint projects with the club to serve the community, exchange ideas, promote understanding and promote the acceptance and implementation of high ethical standards in all the occupation and professions.

    CLOTH DRIVE – Distribute Clothes to the needy
    “A kind gesture can reach a wound that only compassion can heal ”
    It was a district project partnering with Yes Bank , Rotaract Club of RIMS and Rotaract club of Ambedkar nagar took initiative in distributing clothes , it was a joint project with Rotaract Club Of Ambedkar nagar. Together we distributed the clothes to the needy and thus made a difference.

    CLEAN CANTEEN – : To keep the college and canteen premises clean
    “Cleanliness is next to Godliness ”
    Initially our canteen staff always faced problems regarding the students that they never discard the used plates properly into the dustbins and the end result was that there were many rodents and insects which caused health issues. Looking into this matter we took the initiative of keeping the canteen and the college premises clean by distributing pamphlets and posting posters in our canteen. The main motive was to spread awareness about the cleanliness and hygiene .
    Post – Awareness : There was a tremendous change observed in the canteen and college premises as a result the rodents and insects vanished to a considerable number.
