    WASH IN SCHOOLS – To spread awareness about basic hygiene in Schools
    “Nine-tenths of our sickness can be prevented by right thinking plus right hygiene – nine-tenths of it! ”
    Basic cleanliness is absolutely necessary for the existence of a person and to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Negligence of personal hygiene can subject a person to infections and diseases. Thus we the rotaractors took this initiative to spread knowledge about hygiene and the importance of washing hands to the school kids. 15 Rotaractors participated for this project.

    LETTER HEAD EXCHANGE – To extend our network in other district also
    Rotaract Club of RIMS had three letter head exchange with three different clubs i.e. Rotaract club of TOLLYGUNGE, Rotaract club of Central Calcutta and Rotaract club of Calcutta under district 3291.
    Thus expanding our relations with district 3291 for joint projects and future discussions

    WILD KARNATAKA – Moving Screening Meeting
    “If we can teach people about wildlife, they will be touched. Share my wildlife with me. Because humans want to save things that they love.”― Steve Irwin
    The screening of the movie Wild Karnataka- a documentary about the bio-diversity of the Indian state Karnataka produced by the award winning film maker Amoghavasrsha JS and Kalyan Varma in collaboration with icon Films and Mudskipper.
    We had a team of 30 Rotaractors and 125 Rotarians from RMV.
    It was a wonderful time and a flow of knowledge about the prestine beauty of Karntaka

    POLIO AWARNESS – Spread awareness
    “Do Boond Zindagi ki“
    We had a polio awareness camp along with the 450 rotarians and 178 rotaractors at Orion Mall. We marched across the lake view of the mall and also in and around the mall. Thus spreading awareness about Polio. It was a amazing and enthusiastic session altogether.

    CO-BOD MEETING – Plan for the Next year
    The main agenda of the meeting was to discuss the future projects and explain briefly to the co-bods about their roles and responsibilities.

    STAR CLUB AWARD – 2nd quarter meeting
    We were awarded the star club award for the second quarter by Rtr. Shashi ,Rtr. Rajvamshi ,Rtr. Kiran ,Rtr. Naveen Senna.

    Polio Campaign – Spread awareness
    Pulse Polio is an immunization campaign established by the government of India  to eliminate poliomyelitis (polio) in India by vaccinating all children under the age of five years against the polio virus .
    There were 24 Rotaractors who participated in this project and thus helped and also gave the polio drops to the children and had a programme where the parents of the children were given knowledge about why vaccination against polio is important.
