Our institution is a part of the M S RAMAIAH Foundation, a trust that has the avowed objective of providing exemplary service in all of its offerings. Overview of RIMS Ramaiah Institute of Management Studies (RIMS) is a part of the M S Ramaiah Foundation (MSRF) which focuses on providing high quality education in the areas of Management, Law, and Undergraduate Studies. The vision of MSRF is to be a global centre of learning to evolve competent human resource assets with professional skills, ethics, and personal values. Our mission is to provide a comprehensive learning experience to develop our students to be most preferred products by the corporate. RIMS is one of top management colleges in Bangalore that offers an AICTE approved Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) program.

Ramaiah Institute of Business Studies (RIBS) is a degree college under the aegis of M.S.Ramaiah Foundation and affiliated to Bengalore University, is a committed conglomerate knowledge resource center. RIBS is headed by M R. Pattabhiram, Founder Trustee of M S Ramaiah group of Institutions. Dr. M R Pattabhiram has decades of rich academic experience and has nurtured the Medical, Management, Law Colleges and a 1000 bed hospital of the MSR Group. RIBS is established with the aim of providing quality education on par with international standards. It persistently seeks and adopts innovative methods to improve the quality of education on a consistent basis. Ramaiah Institute of Legal Studies

The concept of legal education in India goes back to the Vedic age when it was essentially based on the concept of Dharma. The Kings either used to dispense justice themselves or appoint Judges to administer justice, not necessarily trained in law but who were known for their righteousness and justness and had the reputation of being fair and impartial. According to Brihaspathi Smrithi, there was a hierarchy of courts in Ancient India beginning with the family Courts and ending with the King. The lowest was the family arbitrator. The next higher court was that of the judge; the next of the Chief Justice who was called Praadivivaka, or adhyaksha and at the top was the King’s court. The gurushishya parampara has existed ever since Vedic era making education an integral part of human development. It is education which ultimately results in shaping or transforming the whole society ‘Law is the cement of society and an essential medium of change’. The significance of legal education in a democratic society cannot be over-emphasized. Knowledge of law increases one’s understanding of public affairs.
