3What is the minimum eligibility criteria for Admissions at Ramaiah Institute of Management Sciences?
Minimum of 50% in graduation including languages in any stream from any recognized University or equivalent and CMAT/CAT/MAT/KMAT/ATMA/XAT score (Minimum 50 percentile).

Students will be provisionally admitted even if the final year results are awaited so as to avoid any delay in academic session. The admission shall be confirmed subject to passing in the qualifying examination.
4What is the cut-off score for the CAT/MAT/KMAT/ATMA/XAT/PGCET?
Minimum 50 percentile. A good score strengthens your application but does not guarantee admission while a low score does not necessarily mean exclusion. In fact we test overall potential of the student.

Student has to pay Rs.50,000 (Part of the total fees) as registration charges.
6If the student has to withdraw within 15 days or so can he get a refund?
No. The amount paid as registration fee will be nonrefundable.

9Suppose, I apply for a Program in the application can I change it later?
Yes. If you want a change in program, you can inform the admission officer at the time of Personal Interview round.

Yes you can apply to any nationalized Banks for education loan. On confirmation of admissions we also provide a loan letter which assists the student in getting a Bank Loan.

About Ramaiah Institute of Legal Studies

Ramaiah Institution of Legal Studies (RILS) is affiliated to Karnataka State Law University, recognised by the Government of Karnataka, and approved by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi.

General Rules

  • Students enrolled for either 3 years or 5 years Law courses from all over India shall be eligible to participate.
  • Registrations are limited to 32 teams only. It will be considered on a first come first serve basis.
  • The number of participants is limited to one team from each institution consisting of 3 members: 2 speakers and 1 researcher.
  • The language of instruction for the entire event will be “English” only.
  • The participants shall report to the venue by 8:30 AM on the 3rd of March.
  • It is necessary for the students to carry their college ID cards on the day of the event.
  • Compliance with the Dress Code is mandatory
  • Participants should seek confirmation of their registration prior to the event.
  • Participants creating any kind of noncompliance with rules shall be disqualified at the discretion of the judges.

Registration Details

  • The Registration fee is INR 1500/- per team
  • An additional amount of INR 1500/- will be charged if the team is seeking accommodation from our side
  • The registration is said to be completed only when the registration fee has been remitted successfully
  • Participants should seek confirmation of their registration 2 days prior to the event.
  • The fee once paid is non-refundable.
