Students of RIMSare defined by the spirit of oneness:the comfort with differences and kinship with all.Karnataka Rajyotsava suffused with the colours of the nation, offered an occasion to appreciate the Indian panorama of cultural activities as part of National Integration Day on 1st November 2017. Map of India became the Rangoli inspiration; the colours and floral content drew widespread attention. Competition between classes of all MBA programs ensured a concerted effort in presenting national diversity. Class Representatives gathered the best talent from their class for three group events- folk dance, folk song and ramp walk. Thoseskeptical and cynical about the engagement of our youngsters with the tradition and culture of India were reassured after witnessing the enthusiasmof our students in representing states of India in music, song and dress.The riveting programs echoedthe spirit of unity. Best performers received blessings and prize money from the Director. Not few, but many perceptive members of the M S Ramaiah Foundation Family will see the generosity of the Founder Trustee reflected in the quantum of motivation packed in the prize-money envelope. The least to our prize winner is greater than the most that we observe commonly in B-schools. SBS-Business Analytics bagged first position and was awarded a cash prize of Rs.12,500; University of Mysore (UoM) Section-E took the second place -Rs.10, 000; SBS-1 took the third prize of Rs.7500.
